Concept art: Zeruel

I can't count who many times I've drawn this guy.

Zeruel is the first gargoyle to be carved and is named after the angel of strength. He is the best combatant and is known for his great strength, power, and recklessness. He likes to be the first one in on the action but he has caused his other siblings to hold him back when he goes into beast-mode at inappropriate times.

I based his head off of the gargoyle that Frollo was hanging onto before he died in Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
